Frances Hunter

Classroom VIII Lead Teacher

Frances trained here in Lexington, Kentucky with the Ekcos Training Center and holds an American Montessori Society credential for Elementary I and II, as well as a Kentucky teaching certificate for grades 7-12.  She also holds a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. Frances began her career in 1977 as a high school guidance counselor in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. In 1983, she worked at Lexington Community College as Coordinator of Handicapped Student Services.  She has worked at Providence Montessori for 32 wonderful years.
