Olivia Oakley

Math, Science, and Humanities Guide

Olivia joined the middle school staff in 2022.  She currently teaches our seventh grade math classes and team-teaches humanities and science classes with the other guides.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Transylvania University in Lexington and a Master of Education with Learning & Behavior Disorders from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY.  While her formal teaching career began in 2016, she was an environmental educator with Bluegrass Greensource upon her graduation from college.  In this role, she created, taught, and led several environmental education courses for Fayette County Public Schools, local private schools, community centers, and summer camps.  She has certifications in Project Learning Tree and Project Wet curriculums.
